Author Policies - ICABER 2026
Author Responsibilities

ICABER Author Policies

Please review the official presentation, ethics, and AI usage policies for authors participating in the International Conference on Applied Business and Economic Research (ICABER).

Presentation

Author Presentation Policies

These policies are designed to ensure high-quality in-person engagement at ICABER 2026.

In-Person Presentation Requirement

At least one author must present the paper in person and register at the in-person rate. All presentations at ICABER are conducted strictly in person.

No remote or virtual presentation options are available.

Camera-Ready Policy Acknowledgment

During camera-ready submission, authors must acknowledge the following:

“I commit to an author presenting the paper in person at ICABER. If exceptional circumstances arise, I will notify ICABER immediately. Failure to notify ICABER may result in exclusion from the proceedings.”

Ethics & AI

Policy on Use of AI Systems

ICABER upholds strict academic integrity standards regarding AI-generated content.

Plagiarism & AI-Generated Text

Papers containing text generated by large language models (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) are prohibited unless the generated content is explicitly part of the experimental analysis.

Authors may use AI tools solely for editing or language polishing of their own original text.

AI Systems & Authorship

AI systems do not qualify as authors and may not be cited as sources. Authors bear full responsibility for content accuracy, originality, and plagiarism checks.

Handling Plagiarism Allegations

All plagiarism allegations are investigated thoroughly. Confirmed violations may result in:

• Rejection or retraction of the paper
• Notification to authors’ institutions or employers
• Denial of access to all ICABER-sponsored events
