Abstract and Poster Program: Call for Proposals
ICABER’2025 invites submissions to the Student Abstract and Poster Program. The goal of this program is to provide a forum for students to present and discuss their work in its early stages, connect with peers who share similar research interests, and introduce themselves to senior members of the AI community. The program is open to all students at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral levels. While non-student advisors and collaborators should be acknowledged appropriately, students are encouraged to submit work in which they are the primary investigators, adhering to the spirit of the program.
Connection to Collaborative Bridge Theme
As new opportunities emerge when different disciplines intersect, the collaborative bridge theme of ICABER’2025 aims to nurture such interdisciplinary innovation. Students, exposed to a variety of cutting-edge methodologies through their coursework, are ideally positioned to combine different approaches in their research. By unifying multiple AI disciplines, students can open the door to collaborative partnerships and new perspectives. If your research aligns with this bridge-building theme, you are encouraged to include a discussion in your abstract and poster explaining how integrating different methodologies has helped shape your research objectives.
Submissions and Dates
Additionally, students should submit a supplemental file (in PDF or ZIP format, not exceeding 20MB) that contains complementary material to aid the reviewers, given the brevity of the abstract. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by October 30, 2024, and the camera-ready copy of accepted abstracts is due by November 17, 2024.
Submission Limit
ICABER’2025 enforces a strict submission limit. Each student may submit only one abstract as the primary author to the Student Abstract and Poster Program. Authors cannot be added to the paper after the submission deadline.
Submissions to ICABER’2025 or Other Conferences
Students may submit abstracts based on work submitted to ICABER’2025 or other conferences, but not for work that has already been published. Abstracts are reviewed independently, and acceptance into the student program is not tied to full paper outcomes. Students are advised to check the policies of other conferences for dual submissions. All accepted abstracts must be original and conform to the ICABER Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
Publication
Accepted abstracts will be allocated two pages in the conference proceedings. Students must transfer the copyright of their abstracts to ICABER. A copy of the ICABER copyright form is available in the author kit. Upon camera-ready submission, authors must include a “Student Abstract” designation in the title as per provided instructions.
Poster Session
Authors of accepted abstracts will present their work in a poster session at the conference. Student authors are required to prepare a poster based on their abstract and be available to discuss their work during the allocated time at the event.
Three-Minute Presentation Contest
Selected authors will be invited to participate in a 3-Minute Presentation Contest, where they will present their research and its significance in three minutes, using only a single static slide (no transitions, animations, videos, or sound). A special prize committee will award the best presentation.
